Kevin Gausman is a draft-eligible sophomore and likely first round selection in the 2012 draft. He features tremendous arm speed and velocity.
Gausman throws a mid-90′s fastball that he can crank up to 99. His fastball runs in on righties. He is still developing his secondary pitches, but they have improved since arriving at LSU. Gausman has a high 3/4 arm slot with a smooth delivery.
If Gausman can continue to improve his secondary pitches, he will likely land in the top 10, possibly the top 5.
