Max Foody was regarded as one of the nation’s top 2012 prospects prior to suffering shoulder injuries in 2009 and 2010. He has returned to the mound after suffering a torn labrum early in 2010.
Foody throws a fastball, curveball, and a change. His fastball currently tops out at 93. His big curve is a potential plus pitch.
If all goes according to plan for Foody in the spring, he should make a move toward the top of draft boards.
