Branden Kline was one of the top college closers in 2011 and is set to serve as Virginia’s Friday night starter in 2012.  A long armed righthander, Kline has the command and stuff to be an elite level starter.  He uses an overhand arm slot and has a good downward angle on his fastball.

Kline’s fastball sits in the low to mid 90′s.  A plus slider is his top secondary pitch.  Kline’s curve and change are aslo quality pitches.
