In a lineup that included Dante Bichetee Jr and set the Florida record for home runs in a season, the leading home run hitter was Tomas Nido.  He hit 17 home runs, setting the Central Florida single season record for home runs.

Nido is agressive at the plate and has very good bat speed.  He has an uppercut in his swing and shows good power potential.

Defensively, Nido possesses good catch and throw skills.  He moves well and has soft hands.  Nido’s arm is above average and he has a quick release.  His reported pop times are from 1.85 to 2.10.
