Colby Holmes made good strides from 2010 to 2011. He is a short righthander with 3 pitches. Holmes throws a low 90′s fastball. 90-92 when I have seen him. He throws a slider with good movement and also uses a changeup. Holmes has a high 3/4 arm slot and hides the ball well. He has been prone to giving up home runs since arriving at South Carolina.
